Alam Shah Khan : About His Academic Success

Academic career

Alam Shah Khan was born on 31th March 1936 in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan India. His alma mater is Fateh Memorial High school, Udaipur. He did his Master's in Arts in Hindi with specialization in Rajasthani language from Mohanlal Sukhadia University  Udaipur. He took his doctorate degree in Hindi from the same University.  He joined College of Social Sciences and  Humanities CSSH, Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur MLSU as an associate professor in Hindi. He taught Hindi and Rajasthani both in CSSH and other colleges of Sukhadia University. He became Professor Meera Chair in MLSU. He retired as Dean and Professor of CSSH MLS University Udaipur. He was nominated as a member of Rajasthan Human Rights Commission in 2000 for a period of five years but unfortunately, he passed away while in office on 17th May 2003 due to Carotid Artery Stenosis at the age of 66. 

Literary career. He was a renowned writer of India. He depicted the lives and struggle of marginalized people through his stories.
